REVIEW!

Called this morning to see about getting my alarm fixed, now instead of coming round and charged me I was talked through how to fix the fault, brilliant😀 can’t thank the gentleman enough (sorry I didn’t catch your name)

I would say that he was able to talk me through a common fault on my system I’m sure this won’t be the case with everyone.

This would be your main line of defence to prevent a burglary on your property as well as preventing burglaries in the future.    A decent security system is easy to install, expand or design.

Alarm installers Southport, have found that homes are 85% more likely to be burglarised than a building without a Security system.

Because burglaries isn’t a one-time situation, once victimised, you are 12 times more likely to have a repeat chance of being burgled, within a cupel of months.

Hide your valuables

Burglars tend to head for the master bedroom to see if they can find cash, jewellery and valuables. Try to hide them in places they don’t expect to find things.

Secure your doors, windows and patios.

Most thieves don’t have to “break” in; so they wander in through an open front door.

Door and window alarm sensors can alert you to the comings and goings on at your premises.

Give us a call at: Alarm installers Southport, we are always happy to give help in anyway we possibly can, and would love to hear from you at: Alarm installers Southport.

Be cautious who you let in your home.

It”s simple to copy your key: just ask any housekeeper, babysitter, dog walker, or ex boy/girlfriend. Sure, you got one key back, but how many other keys are out there, that you don’t know of?

Mark your belongings: Engrave your phone number or ID information or supplementary identifying information on things such as electronics and valuables.

Keep a record of serial numbers, this will help identify your property if the police recover what has been stolen and found outside your property.

You could have a CCTV system installed from Alarm installers Southport.

Cut the bushes back.

Tall bushes and landscaping incite burglars to enter and leave without anyone noticing them, this allowing lots of time to conduct the crime.

Don’t hide a key, Burglars may be crooks, but they aren’t daft, they know to look under the doormat or flower pots.

Mail & newspapers gather up.

Have someone check on your house daily.

Some burglars will cover a location with pizza leaflets then return back to your home, those uncollected leaflets show that nobody is at the home.

lock gates, garage doors.

Thieves love unlocked garages and privacy fences, once they gain access, they can take time in getting in and out of the house without nobody noticing them.

Outdoor motion detector CCTV provide supplementary protection to home security.

Don’t forget to secure all doors and windows.

Close the window shades as burglars love to window shop as much as you do, always make sure that your valuables aren’t upon show, as they shop.

Hide your keys.

If your vehicle is equipped auto starting and locking, you may obtain a pouch to secure keys from detection using electronic device’s.

Are you on social media?

Online information you show on social network can urge a burglary.

Sure, you’re “friends” with the people on social platforms, but how much do you know about them?

Did you realise some studies have found that a lot of brake-ins happen because of information gained from social networks.

Facebook and other social media platforms have places of honour in a burglar’s toolkit.

When you “check in” at a local restaurant or make photos of the sunrise from your rented seashore house, you’re advertising that you aren’t in home, so it’s easy to break in, as you would be away for some time.

Taking photos, showing your wedding presents or a new computer or TV or tablet, you have just advertised that you have something worth stealing so help yourself.

You have made a search in Southport.

In this section we have sorted a few  snippets that could be of use to you.

Southport is a large seaside town in Merseyside, England. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 90,336, making it the eleventh most populous settlement in North West England.

Southport lies on the Irish Sea coast and is fringed to the north by the Ribble estuary. The town is 16.7 miles (26.9 km) north of Liverpool and 14.8 miles (23.8 km) southwest of Preston.

Historically part of Lancashire, the town was founded in 1792 when William Sutton, an innkeeper from Churchtown, built a bathing house at what is now the south end of Lord Street. At that time, the area, known as South Hawes, was sparsely populated and dominated by sand dunes. At the turn of the 19th century, the area became popular with tourists due to the easy access from the nearby Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The rapid growth of Southport largely coincided with the Industrial Revolution and the Victorian era. Town attractions include Southport Pier, the second longest seaside pleasure pier in the British Isles, and Lord Street is an elegant tree-lined shopping street.

Extensive sand dunes stretch for several miles from Woodvale to Birkdale, the south of the town. The Ainsdale sand dunes have been designated as a national nature reserve and a Ramsar site. Local fauna include the natterjack toad and the sand lizard. The town contains examples of Victorian architecture and town planning, on Lord Street and elsewhere. A particular feature of the town is the extensive tree planting. This was one of the conditions required by the Hesketh family when they made land available for development in the 19th century. Hesketh Park at the northern end of the town is named after them, having been built on land donated by Rev. Charles Hesketh.

Southport today is still one of the most popular seaside resorts in the UK. It hosts various events, including an annual air show on and over the beach, the largest independent flower show in the UK (in Victoria Park) and the British Musical Fireworks Championship. The town is at the centre of England's Golf Coast and has hosted the Open Championship at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club.
