Called this morning to see about getting my alarm fixed, now instead of coming round and charged me I was talked through how to fix the fault, brilliant😀 can’t thank the gentleman enough (sorry I didn’t catch your name)

I would say that he was able to talk me through a common fault on my system I’m sure this won’t be the case with everyone.

Because burglary isn’t a one-time situation, once victimised, you are 12 times more likely to have a repeat chance of being broken into, within a cupel of months.

Hide your belongings

Thieves tend to head for the master bedroom to see if they can find cash, jewellery and valuables. Try to conceal them in locations they don’t expect to find things.

Secure your doors, windows and patios.

Most thieves don’t have to “break” in; so they walk in through an unlocked back door.

Door and window alarm contact sensors inform you to the comings and goings on at your property.

Give us a call at: Alarm repairs merseyside, we are always happy to give advice in anyway we possibly can, and would love to hear from you at: Alarm repairs merseyside.

Be careful who you let in your property.

It”s simple to duplicate any key: just ask any housekeeper, babysitter, dog walker, or ex boy/girlfriend. Sure, you got most keys back, but how many other keys are out there, that you don’t know of?

ID your belongings: Engrave your phone number or ID information or additional identifying information on things such as electronics and valuables.

Keep a folder of serial numbers, this will help identify your belongings if the police get what has been stolen and recovered outside your property.

You could have a CCTV system installed from Alarm repairs merseyside.

Trim the bushes back.

Tall bushes and landscaping encourage robbers to enter and depart without anyone noticing them, this allowing lots of time to commit the crime.

Don’t hide a key, Burglars may be crooks, but they aren’t daft, they always look under the doormat or flower pots.

Mail & newspapers stack up.

Have someone check on your home regally.

Most burglars will blanket a location with pizza flyers then return back to your property, those uncollected leaflets advertise that nobody is in the home.

Secure garage doors, gates.

Burglars adore unlocked garages and privacy fences, once they’re in, they can take time in getting in and out of the house without nobody noticing them.

Outside motion detector CCTV give supplementary protection in building security.

Don’t forget to secure all doors and windows.

Close your blinds as burglars love to window shop as much as you do, always make sure that your belongings aren’t upon show, as they shop.

Put away your keys.

If your car does support auto locking and starting, you can get a pouch to guard your keys from detection using electronic gadgets.

Are you on social media?

Online information you put on social platform can assist a crime.

Sure, you’re “friends” with the people upon social networks, but how much do you know about your friends?

Do you know most research have found that a lot of brake-ins happen because of information gained from social media.

Twitter and Facebook and other social media networks have places of honour in a burglar’s toolkit.

When you ”log in” at a local restaurant or make photos of the sunrise from your rented seashore accommodation, you’re advertising that you aren’t at home, so it’s easy to break in, as you would be away from home for some time.

Taking photos, showing your wedding presents or a new computer or TV or tablet, you have just advertised that you have something worth stealing so help yourself.

In this paragraph we have gathered a few  items that could be of use to you.

Merseyside (/ˈmɜːrzisaɪd/ MUR-zee-syde) is a metropolitan county in North West England, with a population of 1.38 million. It encompasses the metropolitan area centred on both banks of the lower reaches of the Mersey Estuary and comprises five metropolitan boroughs: Knowsley, St Helens, Sefton, Wirral, and the city of Liverpool. Merseyside, which was created on 1 April 1974 as a result of the Local Government Act 1972, takes its name from the River Mersey.

Merseyside spans 249 square miles (645 km2) of land which border Lancashire (to the north-east), Greater Manchester (to the east), Cheshire (to the south and south-east) and the Irish Sea to the west. North Wales is across the Dee Estuary. There is a mix of high density urban areas, suburbs, semi-rural and rural locations in Merseyside, but overwhelmingly the land use is urban. It has a focused central business district, formed by Liverpool City Centre, but Merseyside is also a polycentric county with five metropolitan districts, each of which has at least one major town centre and outlying suburbs. The Liverpool Urban Area is the fifth most populous conurbation in England, and dominates the geographic centre of the county, while the smaller Birkenhead Urban Area dominates the Wirral Peninsula in the south.

For the 12 years following 1974 the county had a two-tier system of local government; district councils shared power with the Merseyside County Council. The county council was abolished in 1986, and so its districts (the metropolitan boroughs) are now effectively unitary authority areas. However, the metropolitan county continues to exist in law and as a geographic frame of reference, and several county-wide services are co-ordinated by authorities and joint-boards, such as Merseytravel (for public transport), Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and the Merseyside Police (for law-enforcement); as a ceremonial county, Merseyside has a Lord Lieutenant and a High Sheriff. As the Lancashire county palatine boundaries remain the same as the historic boundaries, the High Sheriff of Merseyside, along with those of Lancashire and Greater Manchester are appointed "within the Duchy and County Palatine of Lancaster".

The boroughs of Merseyside are joined by the neighbouring borough of Halton in Cheshire to form the Liverpool City Region, which is a local enterprise partnership and combined authority area.

Merseyside is an amalgamation of 22 former local government districts from the former administrative counties of Lancashire, Cheshire and six autonomous county boroughs centred on Birkenhead, Bootle, Liverpool, Southport, St Helens, and Wallasey.
